PhD in Psychology at University of Seville in Spain (PhD, Cum Laude) with an experimental research on the effects of mindfulness in education (2021). She is curretly collaborating with the Faculty of Psychology of the University of Seville an of the Sapienza University in Rome to publish some articles on this study.
Visiting Fellowships at UC Berkeley (2018) Psychology Department and at UC San Diego (2019, California, US). She has collaborated with Lorraine Hobbs MA, author of the program "MSC-T Mindfulness and Self-Compassion for Teens ".
She have been trained as a mindfulness instructor for children and adolescents (2014-2022) at several training centers: Mindful Schools (Oakland, US); StressedTeens (Stanford University, US); Greater Good Science Center, (UC Berkeley, US); Center for Mindful- Self- Compassion (UC San Diego, US).
In 2022 she obtained the title of MSC-T Trained Teacher at the Center for Minduful Self- Compassion in San Diego, US.
Since 2015 she has been working as Mindfulness for Stress Reduction and Mindful and Self- Compassion instructor for teacher, adults in general, children and adolescents in Italian, Spanish and English (in Seville, Spain and Florence, Italy).
She graduated as a Mindfulness Instructor at Baraka Institute of Integral Psychology (one-year course, 2016-2017, Basque Country, Spain).
She has a permanent position as Humanities' Teacher (since 2006) in a State Middle School (Florence, Italy). In 2022, with a PON project, she taught the MSC-T Mindfulness and Self-Compassion for Teens program to 24 students.
Graduated in Italian Literature and Anthropology at the University of Perugia (Italy) and Madrid (2000). She received her Master's degree in Anthropology of Development and Social Transformations at the University of Sussex (2002, Brighton, UK).
She approached meditative practice spontaneously from 2008. Between 2014 and 2022, she attended 20 in-presence 5-10 days meditation retreats (Vipassana, Mindfulness, Self-compassion) mainly at FPMT centers (ILTK in Poamaia and Oseling in Granada, Spain) and online with the Pian de Ciliegi Meditation Center (Italy).
She has taken MBSR course (2014, Ewam, Dr. Silvia Bianchi); an intensive and a comprehensive Mindful Self- Compassion course (2018, Great Good Science Center, Berkeley University, USA, with Kristin Neff PhD and Christopher Germer PhD; 2019, Center for Mindfulness, University of San Diego, USA, with Megal Prager); MBCT course (2021, Spain, with Dr. Estrella Fernandez).
